Dr. Ledbetter is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Alabama. She earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, IL, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. She completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral residency at Adler Community Health Services in Chicago, IL. She earned her M.A. in Counseling from Adler University, and graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Psychology. She is a certified PREPARE-ENRICH facilitator, which identifies a couple’s strength and growth areas for premarital counseling or marriage enrichment. She has clinical experience working across multiple settings including community mental health, schools, private practice, forensic, and primary care facilities. Her research focused on adult attachment styles in romantic relationships as it relates to communication and conflict resolution. As a firm believer in social justice, Dr. Ledbetter is passionate about working with multicultural populations in order to help individuals make significant changes towards improving their quality of life.


Dr. Ledbetter has clinical experience interacting with diverse populations across the developmental lifespan who presented with multifaceted clinical presentations. She provides thorough psychological assessments and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults as well as couples and families. For both youth and adults, treatment has helped to increase their levels of self-concepts, enhance their ability to cope with life stressors, as well as strengthen their relations with others. Dr. Ledbetter takes an integrative and biopsychosocial approach to treatment, with an emphasis on relational perspectives. She aspires to gain a meaningful understanding of her clients’ life in order to develop a treatment plan that would best meet their needs.
