Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Alabama. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. Then she obtained a dual Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Community Counseling from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Sarah has been licensed since 2008 working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient clinics, non-profit organizations, and home-based intensive programs.


Sarah treats her clients with dignity and respect valuing each person’s unique gifts and personal resourcefulness. Sarah utilizes strength-based therapeutic approaches like Brief Solution-Focused Therapy and Resource-Focused Therapy. She also uses experiential and creative interventions to treat individuals, couples, and families. Sarah has experience treating anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, divorce recovery, self-esteem, self-criticism, family and couples therapy, and blended family issues.
